Caroline Rose: Bikini

One of the best new television shows of the last year is Extraordinary. The story, characters, writing, and acting are all superb, but it is the song selections that push it over the top. Every episode of both seasons is filled with great songs from multiple decades and genres. The incredible show Reservation Dogs used to be my primary show for having my Shazam app standing at the ready, but Extraordinary has now moved into that slot. You can read a list of all of the songs from Season One in NME. I’ve selected the first song from the first episode, “Bikini” by Caroline Rose. It is from the 2018 album Loner, which also contains ten more great tunes by this Grammy-nominated artist.
