Dexys Midnight Runners: There, There, My Dear

I feel like starting the week with an upbeat new wave tune. Dexys Midnight Runners are best known, especially in the U.S., for the one-hit wonder “Come On Eileen.” In the UK, they were much more than a one-hit band, and their first three albums are all fantastic. “There, There, My Dear” is the final track on their 1980 debut, Searching For The Young Soul Rebels. The song is an incredible album closer and should get you moving happily around your house to start your week. It is also a song to add to one of the coolest lists you can make – songs that contain the lyrics from the album title but aren’t named after the album.
