The Libertines: Oh Shit

It’s Monday so let’s kick off the week with “Oh Shit” from the new album by The Libertines. For a brief moment back in the early 2000s, The Libertines were the saviors of British punk. Their 2002 debut album Up The Bracket was one of the best of the year and their self-titled 2004 album was an instant classic, but their addictions and internal conflicts destroyed the band almost as soon as their fame took hold. The good news is that they are clean and composing great music again. All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade is only their second album since they reformed 9 years ago, but it is a wonderful example of personal and creative redemption.
