Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church

I had to take a week off from these posts due to personal stuff, but I’m back this week with some photos from a recent trip to Baltimore. This is Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church. Construction of the church was completed in 1872 and it is one of the most photographed buildings in Baltimore (for obvious reasons). I’m not religious, but today feels like a good day to visit a church and pray. I’ve also included a song by Billie Holiday (who spent her tumultuous childhood in Baltimore).
