Leaf Under Ice
It’s winter here, so it is cold and nature’s beauty has changed into images that only winter can provide. Our garden no longer presents many opportunities for photos, but I am going to try to search out as many interesting images as I can while walking around our neighborhood. There won’t be much snow in these images, but there is the occasional ice, as seen here in an old saucer I had laid out for the birds during the summer. I have also included a song from the long-lost days of AOR radio.

You win today’s prize for reminding me of a song I love, but haven’t heard for years. My favorite Tull song is “Locomotive Breath,” but I don’t think that’s a particularly original choice! But “Skating Away” is beautiful, and great for today. 🙂

When I first saw the image, I thought it was something under a microscope. It wasn’t until I read that it was a leaf under ice, that I could see it was ice. Amazing shot! Ice can be so beautiful 🙂
