It’s not funky Friday, but this morning’s song by the Queen of funk Betty Davis went back 50 years to when funk was king, so this bonus song is a brand new single from Nashville’s retro-soul band Derobert and the Half-Truths. “You’re Not the Only One” was released on January 3, 2025, but sounds like it could have been released 60 years ago. This is old school retro-soul that digs deep and hits just right.
