Chuck Prophet (featuring ¿Qiensave?): Red Sky Night
This morning’s post was by The Band, one of the original roots rock artists. I went looking for some newer roots rock and found the album Wake the Dead. It was released in October 2024 by Chuck Prophet and features the group ¿Qiensave? on several tunes. Prophet has been releasing albums that always fall under the radar of mainstream popularity since the 1980s. He started out in the band Green on Red 40 years ago, but now he is a 21st century roots rocker.
