Leenalchi: Look at Me Look at Me
It’s funky Friday! Leenalchi are a Korean pansori pop band formed in 2019 and one of Ms. Faux’s faves. Pansori is a traditional Korean form of music in which a singer and percussionist present a story. It has been performed since the 17th century, but Leenalchi have transformed it into a version that is modern and absolutely fantastic. The song “Tiger Is Coming” from their 2020 album Sugungga was the first song on the very first Radio Faux Show playlist on March 7, 2021. “Look at Me, Look at Me” is from their new album Lesser Gods and Chimeras, which is being released one song per month throughout 2025. It is infectious. They often create videos in collaboration with the dance group Ambiguous Dance Company, including their 2021 series of Korean tourism videos called Feel the Rhythm of Korea. If you like K-Pop, K-Dramas, dance music, dance videos, or cool stuff that you don’t know about, then go to the Feel the Rhythm of Korea YouTube page and watch these videos.
To listen to all of the songs of the day, check out the Radio Faux Show Song of the Day playlist.

This is so infectious!
