When I started the original Radio Faux Show, one of my favorite themes was to take a trip around the world and learn about music that I do not know. I’ll come back to my normal posts in a few weeks, but for now let’s continue our journey around the globe.
Kaya was a Mauritian performer who created the style known as seggae, a fusion of Mauritian sega and reggae. He died at the age of 38 after being beaten to death by police because he smoked marijuana on stage during a concert. The world sucks.
