When I started the original Radio Faux Show, one of my favorite themes was to take a trip around the world and learn about music that I do not know. I’ll come back to my normal posts in a few weeks, but for now let’s continue our journey around the globe.
Today’s stop on our world tour finds us in one of the homes of modern metal. Enslaved are an Extreme Metal band from Bergen, Norway, they are one of my favorite metal acts, and “As Fire Swept Clean the Earth” is from one of my favorite metal albums (Below The Lights – 2003).

I tried leaving a comment a moment ago and got an error, so let me try again. It’s interesting to make music discoveries around the world. Metal rock is not my favorite kind, especially if the vocals have that deep dark growl. I am curious to find other Norwegian music more to my liking though. Thanks for sharing!
