This Week’s Theme: Santa Claus Keeps Coming To Town

Part three of this four-part, holiday-themed Faux Show series includes forty-two different versions of “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” by forty-two different artists. Every year at the Faux household, we select one holiday standard and make a massive playlist of as many versions as we can find of that one song. This is one of the most popular 20th century holiday songs, and this week’s show is a sampling of its diverse recordings. So don’t get freaked out that Santa is apparently watching you while you sleep, and enjoy a collection of this holiday classic.

Any artist who records holiday music is the artist of the week.

That is it for this week’s blog post. The holidays have gotten busy this year so I’m spending more time with holiday projects and less time with the Faux Show. But, there will be a final holiday Faux Show next week, filled with traditional holiday music.
