Judas Priest: The Serpent and The King
It seems appropriate to follow up yesterday’s song by Lucifer with a track from the new Judas Priest album Invincible Shield. This is their strongest release in decades, and “The Serpent and The King” is a driving hard rock tune that features all of the Priest qualities one would expect – the twin guitar attack, a grooving riff, a head-banging chorus, and the still powerful screaming vocals of Rob Halford, who is 72 and still sounds like he is 32.
