The Zombies: You Make Me Feel Good
I noticed that the Spring 2024 Song of the Day playlist includes artists starting with almost every letter of the alphabet. Over the next 20 days, I’m going to make sure I get them all by selecting some music I don’t know by artists whose names begin with the remaining letters. I’ll start with Z. The Zombies released one of the greatest albums ever made, Odessey and Oracle, in 1968. Other than that they are best known for their first single, “She’s Not There.” The song was released on July 24, 1964 and was their only top 40 UK hit. It also reached #2 on the US Billboard charts. The B-side to the single was “You Make Me Feel Good,” a song that sounds exactly like the 1964 Beatles.
