When I started the original Radio Faux Show, one of my favorite themes was to take a trip around the world and learn about music that I do not know. I’ll come back to my normal posts in a few weeks, such as 3 Song Dance Party, Lyrical Tuesday, and Funky Friday, but for now let’s pack our bags and go on a world tour.

Chingiz Mustafayev is an Azerbaijani singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He represented Azerbaijan in the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest and finished in eighth place. His song “From Past to Present” is a groovin’ chunk of Azerbaijani neo-folk pop music.
