When I started the original Radio Faux Show, one of my favorite themes was to take a trip around the world and learn about music that I do not know. I’ll come back to my normal posts in a few weeks, such as Sunday Jazz and 3 Song Dance Party, but for now let’s continue our journey across the globe.
The Rustavi Choir perform polyphonic vocal music. The nation of Georgia was the area that produced the earliest versions of polyphonic Christian music, dating back almost 2,000 years. “Tshkenosnuri (Riding Song)” presents the beauty of this music wonderfully.
