Happy Ants

Finding beauty in the often overlooked, this week’s photos will focus on a recent walk I took through a parking lot. Here are some ants who are thriving in a tiny weed growing out of a crack in the pavement. I believe that the white fuzz is a sugary extraction produced by a mealybug that has taken refuge in the weed. Ants and mealybugs are friends. I’ve also included a song about friendship.
